Children's Fall Event
Kendall Family Farm Adventure
On Sunday October 6, 2019, twenty four people went to the Kendall Family Farm Adventure. The farm is only a hop, skip, and a jump down the road from the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church.
We met at the church at noon for pizza, chips, fruit, and cookies. Then off we went for our adventure. With lots of adults along, it made it easy for the kids to scatter to different activities in which they were most interested. The corn maze and corn pit seemed to be the most popular.
There was also a peddle cart track with small and large trikes for all ages, a farm petting zoo, and two old-fashioned water pumps where the kids could race plastic ducks, among other activities and games. With lots of different options, everyone had a wonderful time.
Another highlight for the children was the hay ride around the adventure area. It was such a nice day to do all these activities.
The farm also offered a pumpkin patch where the kids could pick their own pumpkins. It was a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon and a great fall outing for children and adults alike.
